Visit with Lil Rowland!

Dustin's brother works with Progress Energy and just got transferred to Southport to work at the Nuclear Plant there. We wanted to go visit him at his new house and spend sometime together. We left Wednesday after work and stayed till Thursday night. He lives in a gated community with a Golf Course and pond right behind his house. It is beautiful and only a few minuted from the Beach!

When me and Dustin got in, the first thing we did was put on pajamas!

We all got ready after breakfast and headed to a reptile aquarium that was filled with snakes! Ugh! It gave me chills all day long!

 Don't let these pretty birds fool you! The were very aggressive anytime anyone came near them .They even had a sign up saying, "Warning: These birds will bite".

 Yeah, I know! He is crazy to hold this snake! I couldn't even bring myself to touch it, much less hold it!

 Dustin and Landon had enough! We waited outside for the rest of the crew!

 We walked down a little ways and looked over the water. It was such a pretty day.

We decided to head home after that. We went through N. Myrtle Beach and ate at our of our favorite restaurants! Nakota Japanese Steakhouse! We love that place!

 Landon LOVES their soup. And of course he split it :) so the waitress brought him another one. He ate all of our shrimp and even ate some noodles!

After we ate we headed to Bass Pro Shop for Daddy to do some shopping. We all love that place and Landon loves to watch the fish. We got home about 1:00am Friday morning and Landon lasted all the way  Darlington before he fell asleep! We can't wait to go back and visit Lil Rowland! 

Snow Day!

When we heard it was going to snow, we got so excited! I had our clothes laid out so we could get dressed and go play in the snow before it melted! That morning we headed over to my mom's house to play. My 3 nieces were there and we had a blast! I wish it would snow one more good time before winter is over with!

It snowed so much more at Mom's than it did at my house. And we only live 3 minutes away!

 I took my nieces, Tori, Summer, and Allie back home with me so mom could clean a little. It started snowing so we went outside and played a little bit. It didn't stick, but it was fun watching them play. I took this picture of our cars while it was snowing but you cant really see all the snow that was falling. It was beautiful.

Bathroom/Kitchen Remodle

We remodeled our Kitchen about 4 months ago. I love it and I am so glad we did it! We still have to do the floor. I want to put ceramic tile down, but with the holidays here and us being so busy, we decided to put it off until the first of the year. We have a few things left to do like decorating it more, getting a stainless-steel trashcan, and just small unnoticeable things. Here are a few pics of my new kitchen:

We also just remodeled our guest bathroom. It desperately needed it! It had while/green striped wallpaper from top to bottom  and the bathroom vanity was very badly damaged. My wonderful Husband stayed up till 3:00 Christmas morning painting it, then got back up at 8:00 and put the vanity in and did the plumbing. He was so tired. But it looks wonderful.

This is looking in from hallway. We also bought the matching mirror to go above the sink but I told Dustin not to worry about putting it up now. It is huge and he was wore out. But when we get it hung I will post it again!

 We also had tile put down. We went with the brown/blue design. I still have to get a couple more things to go in it, but overall is pretty much done. Just noticed that the face plates are different colors, definitely got to get that fixed! :)

Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas. We are so blessed to have such great families. Landon had a blast and got way too much. With his birthday at Christmas time, we will go months and still have presents to take out of the box! Landon asked for a few things this year, and he has been such a good boy. He wanted a video game(Nintendo DSI) very badly. Then he wanted a spider-man bike, which my parents got him for his birthday, and he also wanted a Police car.

 He was so excited about his DSI, than he never noticed the Police Charger in the dining room. We had to go show him!

 We got this Rocking Horse for him as well. I knew he wouldn't show too much interest in it, but I loved it. I really like the fact that it is hand-made and we know the person who built it. I love the sentimental value of it. I can see Landon passing it down to his kids, and then so on. I told Dustin it will make us so happy one day to see our grandchildren and great-grandchildren riding it in they years to come.

We had Christmas Dinner at my house this year. I love having people over. We had over 30 people! We had a blast and love get together. I think that's why I love the Holidays so much is that I get to see my family and friends more often!

Landon LOVED this babydoll. He thought it was so neat that she woudl eat and drink. This lasted a good 10 minutes. Dustin hated Landon playing with it but every little boys plays with a doll sooner or later, right?
