Terrible Two's - Full Swing

I know its been a while since I've posted, just been really tired with this pregnancy! I'm just starting to get my energy back!

Landon has a small TV that we have in the living room. My mom gave him this TV, and he wont watch it in his room by himself yet, so we had to put it in the living room with us. This particular day, he was being very quite. I looked at him from the side and asked what he was doing. He said, "nuttin mommy, turn around." I seen a pile of milk on the floor. What he was doing was putting a mouthful in his mouth, and spitting it out. I told Dustin to go get my camera, because even though this was a bad thing he did, i still wanted a picture of it. I said, "Landon, why did you do that?" He lifted his hands to the side and said, "I dunno know." I got it on camera!! Here are some proof of Landon in his TERRIBLE TWO'S!!!

And we have a heartbeat....

Yep, you heard right! We are having another addition to the Tedder family! I found out I was pregnant on January 23rd, (the exact same day that Tedder baby #2 was suppose to be here, ironic, right?) Me and Dustin kept it between ourselves, beside Dawn, my twin sister and BEST friend, just to be on the safe side. I made an appointment. The Dr. gave me an ultrasound and said it didn't look good...we were devastated. He said I was measuring 11 weeks when he did my physical, but the ultrasound was showing the baby at 5 weeks, which meant the baby just wasn't growing. He said we will check the baby again in one week and just go from there. So, I couldn't tell anyone. I kept telling Dustin that I felt pregnant. I was nauseous and felt extremely tired and having mood changes. I just knew that I was having a baby. We kept praying that everything would be OK. Well, I went yesterday and we got to see the baby's heart beating! I was so happy all I could do was cry. We could finally share our wonderful news with friends and family. The first thing I went and did was buy Landon a big brother shirt. We went by our parents house to just "drop" by. We got to Dustin's parents and after a while we finally said,"How do you like Landon's shirt?" His dad said, "I like it." Then his mom read it and started screaming so then Rowland read it! They we ecstatic! Then we repeated the process with my parents! They didn't notice Landon's shirt either until we pointed it out! Now, we will just keep praying that this pregnancy will go very smoothly. They will monitor me very closely. Since I am RH- and didn't receive the shot in time, I have developed antibodies, which see the babies blood type, if RH+, as foreign and will start attacking it. Once you miss the shot, you can never get it again. Over 5000 babies are born each year with their mothers having the same condition as I have. We have a 80 -100% chance that the baby will be healthy, even if the baby will have to have blood transfusions, called "exchange transfusions" through the umbilical cord every week until he is delivered. That has made me feel alot better! So please everyone keep me in your prayers, and we will keep you updated! We are both hoping for another little boy...but as long as the baby is healthy, it doesn't matter!

Oh, at what could have been......

Today, January 23rd, was my due date for Tedder baby #2! Yes, its a sad day for me and Dustin, but we cant help but to look at Landon and be thankful for him. We almost lost him. I was given up to die 3 times while I was 5 months pregnant with him. I was on life support for 7 days. I had feeding tubs, wires hooked up everywhere. My family was almost planning me and baby Landon's funeral. But God answered prayers and brought me and Landon through that difficult time. Landon is such a sweet little boy, who loves M&M's, loves playing guns and swords with his daddy, loves cuddling up to and kissing his mommy. He loves to drink milk and water. He loves bath time and doesn't have a good time unless he splashes water everywhere. He loves to wear shoes, even if they don't match. He loves riding in Daddy's big truck because he can sit in the front. He loves playing outside, no matter what the weather is. He loves his cousins Bryce, Summer and Gage more than any other cousins he has. He loves his Aunt Dawn. He is the most loving, caring little boy I have ever met! He is addicted to his movie, "Dr. Seuss Horton hears a Who" right now. He loves Blue's Clues and Handy Mandy. He loves to make people laugh and be silly. He is soooo cute and there isn't a place that we don't go that someone comments on how handsome he is. I could just squeeze him and hug and kiss him all the time. He loves any toys, especially a ball. He has loved a ball since the day he could hold one in his tiny hand. So, while we are sad today, of what could have been, we are so thankful that we have a smart, handsome son, that is the sparkle in every ones eyes! Thank you Jesus for healing us, and having your hand on both of us. We love you and thank you for watching over us.

It's Snowing, it's snowing.....

Yep! Can you believe it! Hartsville got snow!!!!! Well, at least enough for the children to be happy about! Me and Dustin were excited too! We both had to work, but we couldnt wait to get home and let Landon play outside in the snow! He had a blast! After we played at our house, we headed over to mama and papa's house for supper and more snow time.

Christmas Day

Christmas morning was great. Landon didnt know what to do when he woke up. He just stood in front of the tree, looking at all his toys. We finally had to say, "Landon, look at the toys Santa brought you, go play with them." We had some toys laid out, and others wrapped under the tree for him to open. He was a happy little boy all day long playing with his toys. He took something to play with at my family's house for dinner, and Dustin's family's for supper.

Christmas Eve

We had a fabulous Christmas this year. Way too much to do, but its worth it being around family. We had to do presents with my mom and dad, Dustin's mom and dad, both grandparents, and then had to dinners to go to on Christmas with all of our families. Landon had a blast this year. He loved opening his presents! We are so thankful for both of our families. We both have wonderful parents who spoil us and Landon too much! Here are a few pics of this Christmas 2008.

Some Christmas Pics!

We usually always get Christmas pictures taken. It is so close to his birthday, that we go ahead and do it all together. Its much easier that way! Here are a few the we had taken a couple of weeks ago!

Landon turns 2

I cant believe it! My baby boy is 2 today. At this time, 2 years ago, I was in labor. Its hard to believe how fast they grow. I have always heard that they grow fast, but never really understood how true that was. I got up extra early this morning to fix breakfast. Me and Dustin both had to work so I figured we need to at least eat breakfast with him. I fixed pancakes and toast, and I had some special K cereal. I kept singing Happy Birthday to him and asking him how old he way. He would hold up 3 fingers and say, "Two." He is sooooo cute! I was holding him and we walked into our bedroom while Dustin was getting ready and I said, "Daddy, it's Landon's birthday!" Dustin said, "Happy Birthday Landon!", and Landon said, "Music Mommy." He wanted me and Dustin to sing Happy Birthday to him! He is so cute and sweet! I could eat him up!

Sweet little Bryce...

Here are some recent pics of my nephew, Bryce. He is now 2 month and 10 pounds 4 ounces. He is so sweet and I could just eat him up! He is already a momma's boy....but arent they all???

My baby is growing up.....

Sunday me and Dustin wanted to take a little "Sunday nap". Well, Landon wanted to take a nap too...but he didnt want to sleep in the bed with us. He said he wanted to sleep by himself on the floor.??? I guess he is use to sleeping by himself in his room in his Toddler Bed, and didnt want to share his "space" with us. Well, we got in the bed, and started snuggling, thinking he would see us and change is mind. Well, after about 15 minutes, I was beginning to wonder... I got up to use the bathroom, and seen his big brown eyes open. I picked him up off the floor, and said, "Landon, please come get in the bed with Mommy and Daddy." He said, "OK." I was so happy for him to be in the bed with us. He wrapped his arms around me, and I wrapped mine around him, and we were both fast asleep in 10 minutes! I absolutly LOVE this little boy!!!!

What a Roller Coaster Ride!!!!!

Mom called me Thursday from work and said that Landon was having a hard time breathing, and he hadn't drank anything all day! I left work and called the Dr. on my way home to get Landon. Dr. Harless said to meet him at the Hospital, because he was admitting Landon. My heart started racing! I did not want Landon admitted, but if that's what it took to get him better, we will do it. The hardest part was when they took him into the exam room to put his IV in. They let me go with him. I knew it would be better for me if I didn't go, but better for Landon if I did. They laid him down and were trying to find a vein. He was reaching up to me saying, "Mommy, hold me, Mommy!" I cried like a baby, seeing my baby wanting me to pick him up and just hold him, but I couldn't. He was too dehydrated to get the IV in his arm, so they had to move to his foot. They finally got it and I was able to pick him up and just hold him and let him know Mommy was here. We went back to our room and Landon would not let me put him down. Every time a nurse came in, he just squeezed me, which i cant blame him! Friday, the nurse came in and checked his stats. He wasn't breathing good, so they rushed and put him on oxygen. I was so scared. He was having breathing treatments every 4 hours, but it wasn't helping. After a day on oxygen, he started doing good breathing, so they took him off, but kept his breathing treatments. He still wouldn't eat or drink, so when Dr. Harless came in, he gave him some vanilla ice cream, and he ate every bit! That night, about 7:00, he was acting like his old self. He had been real ill, and Dr. Harless said it was the steroids he was on. When Landon woke up Saturday morning, the first thing he said was, "Eat?". The Respiratory Therapist was in there giving him his treatment, and we both couldn't believe it! They brought in his breakfast and he ate a whole pancake and grits! We were so excited! The Dr. came in and said we could go home! YAY! Landon still acts real tired, but he is back to his sweet little self!

A very sick little boy.....

Landon started running a 103 + fever on Sunday. He was coughing and couldn't get any sleep. I called my supervisor, and told her I wasn't coming in Monday, because I was taking Landon to the Dr. Me and my mom took him to the Dr. Monday. His Doctor is Dr. Harless, and he was on vacation so we went and seen Dr. A. Dr. A said he had a virus that was going around, and if his fever doesn't break by Thursday, bring him back in. So mom was coming over to our house to keep him Tues. and Wed. while me and Dustin work. Well, Wednesday my mom called me @ work and his temp was 103.8, so I headed back to see Dr. Harless! Landon has something in the family of hand-mouth-foot disease, which he has had that before. He has sores all in his mouth, which is why he hasn't eaten since Saturday night, and all he wants to do is sleep! The Dr. took x-rays of Landon's chest, and he has bronchitis-pneumonia. He sent him home with 2 different medicines and said to call if he didn't get better. So, Hopefully, our Little Man will be feeling better soon! I miss my little Landon.
