Sunday Dinner

Dustin has been asking me for a while to cook every other Sunday....just for the 3 of us. At first I was like, "No Way! That's the only day I usually NEVER have to cook!"  But the more I thought about it, the more I decided that it really would be wonderful. And such a compliment that Dustin LOVES my cooking! Yesterday was our first meal with just the 3 of us. I fixed herb roasted chicken, homemade mac and cheese, corn, biscuits, and a strawberry cream cheese cake for dessert, It was delicious and we really enjoyed spending that quality time together! Dustin said that was the best Sunday dinner he has ever had! :) I am looking forward to the next dinner!

This is what they did while I prepared the food. Dustin woke up that morning not feeling too well. We enjoyed spending the day together laying around and sitting outside. It was so pretty.

I got the recipe for this chicken from Pioneer Woman. It was delicious and I stuffed the inside of the chicken with a lemon, an onion, and some garlic. It made it soooo juicy and full of flavor!
