He knows how to melt my HEART....

Landon slept with us last week just about EVERY day because he had been sick with a cold, and its easier for him to be in bed with us. If Dustin had his way, Landon would sleep with us EVERY night. He hates Landon in another room, by himself. I have a rocking chair in Landon's room, and I rocked him to sleep last night about 8:45. It took about 2 minutes for him to fall asleep. I had went walking around our neighborhood by myself earlier, and when i gotten back, Daddy had gave Landon a bath, and they were playing, so he was worn out. Sometime during the night, Landon woke up crying. I went into his room and he was crying for some milk. I took him out, and we were headed into the kitchen. He said, "Mommy", and I looked at him and said, "What Baby?" He then reached over and gave me a huge kiss on the cheek and said, "Mommy's bed?" I couldn't resist. I headed straight for my room and me and Landon snuggled ALL night. How can he be that smart and he not even 2 yet??

Our Little Monkey!

Landon has a lime green toy box, with a monkey on it, that his Aunt Dawn got him. It is just him size. He loves to put all his favorite toys in it, and carry it from room to room. Well, this day, he decided to be the toy, and climb into the toy box. From that day forward, he gets in it all the time! After he played a while, he fell asleep on the couch, and was gone all night long!

Me and Dustin were getting ready to go uptown one day, and noticed that Landon was being very quite. He is usually with us in our room saying, "Mommy, wanna go?", while I try and get ready. So I decided we need to investigate. I walked into the kitchen, and noticed our panty door was open. He has learned to open the doors now. I looked in there, expecting to see him on the floor with a mouth full of something. But he wasnt in there. Then, I heard him say, "uuuu O." Meaning, something bad happened. I walked into our living room, and they he was. He had gotton the box of Fruit Loops, and dumped them on the floor. I was upset, but it was soooo funny too. He just sat down in the corner, and started eating them! I couldnt resist, I had to run and grab my camera!

Later that night, I got a pic of him on the couch asleep!

Landon's First Haircut......finally!

A couple a weeks ago, Landon had enough hair that we could acutally take him to get a "trim". He had some hair sticking out over his ears, and some hanging out below his neck. My Aunt, Lisa, is a beatician, so we just headed over to her house for his first cut. I was so happy....yet sad at the same time. This meant my baby boy was growing up!! Here are some pic of that bitter-sweet night! Of course, he had to watch Daddy get his done first!

The newest member to our family....Wesley Bryce!

My twin sister, Dawn, had her first child September 12th! He was 6 pounds 6 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long! After a long, hard labor, he finally arrived! He already has my Heart! I absloutly love my first nephew, and I plan on spoiling him rotten!

He doesnt meet a stranger....

Sunday, Me, Dustin, and Landon headed to our favorite place to eat after Church...Cracker Barrell! We were sitting on the rocking chairs outside, when this man came up to us. He starting talking to us about how cute Landon was in his church outfit. He then explained to us that he recently just became a grandfather of 2 little girls. At that time, Landon reached up to him for him to hold him! I couldnt believe it! Landon always does this!! The man just thought it was wonderful! He grabbed Landon and Landon just looked at him and did this chessy grin! The man was actually very nice. He was a preacher in Myrtle Beach and was here for a Wedding. He and his wife were getting a to-go plate to eat on the road back home. I dont think he will ever forget Landon!

When we got home, Dawn came over with Bryce and her Camera and I started taking some pictures of Landon outside playing. I actually ended up with some pretty good shots!

Well, I guess this is the Beginning.....

I've never done anything like this before. I mean, I have a Facebook and Myspace, but I have never "Blogged" about me or my family. Dustin and I have been married for 4 wondeful years, and we have a beautiful son, who will be 2 in December, Landon Drake. So, I guess just keep checking in to see what's going on in our life!
