Homemade donuts

Landon making the glaze

i think they cooked a little too long, but they
still tasted great.

sticky hands!!!

Wednesday afternoon, Landon wanted to make some donuts. I have a recipe for some homemade glaze, so we got to work. Landon had a blast, and me and Dustin were surprised on how good they tasted!

Lunch at Barefoot Landing

If these 2 boys get any cuter, I am going to have to lock them up!

On our last day, we went to Barefoot Landing and had lunch outside at River City Cafe. The weather was gorgeous, and the food was delicious. Afterwards, we walked around and got some ice cream, feed the turtles and fish, and did some shopping.

Last night on the Beach

On our last night, we went and got some Starbucks mocha's, and some hot-chocolate for Landon, and went and sat on the Beach for a while. Landon seen us lay out the towel and said, "Oh Man! We are having a picnic!" He loved it and me and Dustin loved getting to cuddle together and watch how peaceful the ocean was. There was a sky full of stars. The wind was blowing pretty strong, so we didnt get to stay as long as we would have liked.

But the "hot now" sign was on.....

my mouth is watering just looking at these...

Yeah, I did let Landon have a donut for breakfast. We are on vacation!

watching Scooby-Doo before heading out to the Beach

Ok. So I absolutely LOVE KK donuts, especially the chocolate covered ones. And what is a Beach trip, without getting a dozen to keep around the house? Landon loves them just as much as I do!

Alligator Adventure and Dixie Stampede

Landon was too busy looking at the crabs to look at Daddy

Feeding Time

We went to Dixie Stampede, again. This is the 4th year in a row that we have been. Landon loves it, and we love the food. I am definitely tired of going, but if it is one of Landon's request to go again, I know we will. He loves watching the horses and the show. We also went to Alligator Adventure at Barefoot Landing. We had never been before, and Landon's loves animals and wild life. The have alligators galore, birds, snakes, lizards, beavers, turtles, tigers, and many more animals. We even got to watch them feed the tigers and alligators. We all had a blast.

Last week, Dustin, Landon, and I headed out to the Beach for a get-a-way! We stayed for 5 days and absolutely hated to come back. We stayed in Cherry Grove, at our neighbors Beach House. It was absolutely gorgeous! We had the inlet in our back yard, and we just a quick walk down form the Beach. We went to the Beach everyday we were there, and walked every night on the Beach as well. We couldn't believe how "empty" the Beach was. it was like we had it to ourselves, which we loved. We had the best time spending some much needed quality time together. Life gets so busy that sometimes you forget to stop, and just appreciate what you have. And to have a wonderful, healthy family, is better than having all the money in the world. Although we do have to go on without Trevor with us, we know he is in good hands. Landon had a blast playing in the ocean with Daddy, finding crabs, building sandcastles, and looking for seashells. We can't wait to go back.

First Baptist Preschool Spring Program

Waiving to Mommy and Daddy

Landon's famous "in front of a large crowd" picture

First Baptist had their Spring Program tonight. Landon has never "performed" in front of a crowd before, so we were very nervous. When the kids came out, Landon spotted us and came right over! It took alot of convincing(we are going to the Beach tomorrow for about 5 days, and I told him I will take him to Dixie Stampede if he went back up on the stage) but he went back up there and stayed the whole time. I was surprised on how many songs that he knew, that I haven't heard him sing around the house. They all did great and they had a party afterwards for the kids. I was in charge of video taping him, and Aunt Dawn took some pictures! I can't wait to see what they are going to do next year! Kids are soooo cute and funny!
