Haircut!

BEFORE

AFTER

This was after his bath. As soon as he gets a haricut, he HAS to have a bath. Just like his Daddy! :)

It started with this.....

And ended with this.......

I wrote Dustin a "love letter" late one night after him and Landon were in the bed and had it in the kitchen so he would see it the next morning. I didn't expect him to do anything for me at all. I was up late(2:00 in the morning) studying and just was thinking about him and how I love him to pieces! Anyway, when I woke up the next morning, I called Dustin like normal, and he told me that he really liked his letter. It wasn't nothing special. Just a little note to let him know that I love him. That afternoon me and Landon were sitting in the chair watching cartoons and Dustin came through the door with a big smile on his face and 12 beautiful red roses(my favorite). I was so surprised and extremly happy! I had no idea that it would mean so much to him. Needless to say that I told Dustin I want him to give me fresh flowers ever week because I just love having them displayed in our house. I thought those red roses looked great in our kitchen! :) I thank God every day that he gave me Dustin. We have been through alot and our marriage is far from being perfect. But hey, no marriage is perfect. All that matters is we love each other and will do anything for each others happiness. I am so glad that we not only love each other, but are still soooo much IN LOVE with each other! I hope that we can still say that after 50 years of marriage(and I know we will)!

They looked sooo pretty when they started opening up

Icicles!

The best part about snowy weather is that when it starts to melt, you get ICICLES!!!! Landon was amazed when I showed him one and even more amazed when I let him bite it! Dustin looked at me like I was crazy and said, "Denise, don't let him eat that. It's nasty!" I said, "Dustin, didn't you eat icicles when you were little?" He said, "Yeah, I guess it wont hurt him." Ha! I mean, he's only little once!! :)

He didn't like the fact that it was COLD! haha!

Our snow day #2(still can't believe it) was wonderful! It started with Daddy fixing us breakfast! Pancakes, eggs, and sausage!

Of course we had coffee with marshmallows again! :)
Yeah, I know. But this time I put his hot chocolate in a cup with a lid! ; )
After we ate, we decided to venture out and go get a movie to watch.

Thank goodness for Daddy's 4WD truck!
We got the movie, The Town, and I knew Landon wouldnt want to watch it. So me and him got out some playdough he got for his birthday and played so Dustin could really watch the movie. I watched it too, but also played with Landon. We sat on the floor and played for over an hour.
We made him some dog food, some treats, and even made some cute puppies!

He had so much fun. Later that night he told me that I was the Best mommy he had ever seen! :)
We both look tired in this pic!
I sure do love my little football player!

9 inches of SNOW!!!!!

Dustin woke me up Monday morning about 8:00 and told me to look outside. I was expecting some snow, but not that much! We started making breakfast, pancakes and eggs, then as soon as Landon woke up and ate we all got dressed and met our neighbor outside to play!

 They wanted to go walking

After about 30 minutes of playing, they were ready to go in and play and get warm!

Later that day, me and Landon decided to venture out again and play some more.

I fixed Landon some hot chocolate when we got in.
 It's always better with marshmallows!

I should have seen this coming, after only 5 minutes he spills it and it gets EVERYWHERE!
It even got all in my cabinets!
Needless to say, he wasn't happy...
But after seeing how good his looked, I decided to fix me some coffee in my new Valentine mug.
And then I thought, "Wouldn't this be good with some marshmallows in it!"
 And it was delicious!
Then me and Landon went and cuddled up on the chair, because Daddy was hogging the couch
We all watched the BCS championship game between Auburn(Go Tigers) and Oregon. Me and Landon pulled for Auburn. Daddy lost, we won! :)
Landon's faced was chapped, but I covered it with Vaseline and boy was he a sight! I laughed and laughed at him!
