Pajama Day 1 @ school

Too cute! Landon loves pajama days at school. He has another one tomorrow and then another one in May sometime!

Picnic inside??

When Landon woke up Saturday, he wasnt feeling too good. He didnt eat any breakfast. He just wanted to lay around and watch cartoons.

I needed something to cheer him up with. Dustin had just left to work a couple of hours so I asked Landon if he wanted to have a picnic. He said, "Outside?" I told him that we couldn't go out because he was sick, but that we could have one inside if he wanted to. Of course he jumped up and was happy! Yay!  It worked!

I pulled back the curtains in the dining room to give us some vitamin D!

 Landon wanted a peanut butter sandwich, no jelly, and some popcorn. I had bought a heart shaped cutter the other day so I decided to cut his sandwich into a heart. He thought that was so cool. And of course there we Valentine cookies for dessert. :)

 I also got a show. Landon showed me how athletic and acrobatic he was. That boy is very energetic!

 Later, we decided to work on his poster for his school's Terrific Kid program. I really had no idea what to do. Landon helped me pick out some pictures of him and some favorite moments and we got busy.

 Ta-Da!

Mission Accomplished!

Weekend stick inside....

It was SO pretty this whole weekend! But we were stuck inside with a little boy who was sick with RSV!! When Dustin dropped Landon off at school Thursday, it wasn't 15 minutes later that they were calling him to go pick him up. I was in class when I got the text from Dustin(I know, I shouldn't be texting in class, but I have my phone on vibrate for situations like this). Dustin took Landon to the Dr and he had RSV. Dr. Harless said he has already put 5 other kids in the Hospital that week with it, so we were under strict instructions to keep him inside or he will have to be admitted. Of course, he gets sick during one of the warmest and nicest weather this season. We made do though! We did alot of fun stuff this weekend!!

Friday Landon helped me make some homemade lasagna. I figured since we were going to have to stay in all weekend, i better make my homemade lasagna(which is a serving for 12) so that we could also eat it Saturday for lunch. Dustin likes it better the next day anyway. :) Then, I asked Landon if he wanted to wash some dishes for me. He loved it! He has never played with washed dishes before so he had a blast!

 I can't believe I had 2 of my boys in the SAME kitchen at the SAME time and BOTH were working! HA! Dustin was making us some sweet tea!

 You can definitely tell that Landon "helped" me make dinner. It was all over the back of his shirt. :)

After we cleaned up and gave Landon a bath, it was time to eat!

 

 Landon didn't eat too much, considering he was sick, but he ate some more the next day.

Oh My Goodness!!!!!!

I got these gorgeous roses delivered to me from my Wonderful Husband yesterday at work! They are BEAUTIFUL!!!

When I got off of work, Me and Dustin headed to Florence! We ate at Miyami's and it was great! We both got their Steak and Shrimp and we both cleaned our plates! Then we shopped around a bit. We went and checked out the new I-Phone at Verizon and then went to Wal-mart. We then went and picked up Landon from my parent's house and headed home. We exchanged Valentine's Day cards and ate some white-chocolate covered strawberried from CJ's for dessert! We have been getting them for Valentine's for 6 years now. We love them! It was a wonderful Valentine's Day! We also left some presents and balloons at Trevor's grave for Valentines. Happy Valentine's Day Trevor! We love you!

Valentine's Day Breakfast

We love breakfast around here! I made eggs, bacon, homemade buttermilk pancakes, and chocolate-chip pancakes for my Valentines! Dustin doesn't like a lot of chocolate chips in his pancakes, but I load mine down with them. He says they are sweet enough already (since I use vanilla extract and sugar) but I told him that anytime a girl can add chocolate to their meal, we do and we do it plentiful! I just wish I had a heart shaped pancake maker.....

It was delicious!!!

Chocolate Milk!

Yesterday afternoon, me and Landon decided to go walking in the woods behind our house(It was more his idea). They have cleared a lot of woods behind our house so we went walking. We ended up fighting some "monsters" and "bad guys" with some dirt bombs! He wore me out so I decided to call Daddy who was back home at the house. I let Landon tell him we were in the woods hiding and that he had to come find us. We laid down in the field near the power lines. I could see Dustin through the woods coming towards us. We laid there very still and it took him about 10 minutes to finally spot us. Landon said we were good hiders. :) After that we fought some more bad guys and headed home. I jumped in the shower then gave Landon a bath and we put in Spiderman 3. Landon loves it. That lasted about 5 minutes then he wanted to play Burger King. He has some play food and a cash register so we went in his room and played. He kept buying some chocolate milk and it looked soooo good that I decided to go make us some real chocolate milk! It was so good and hit the spot!

 I let the glasses get cold in the freezer for about 5 minutes!

I think my head was bigger than my stomach because we both had more than half left over in our glasses when we were done. I put them in the fridgerator and we sipped on them over the next hour. They were good though!

Yeah, He's got my "name" written all over him.....for now anyways....

I could kiss him to pieces!

Play Date

We had a play date last Sunday with some friends of ours. We went over to their house that afternoon and grilled out. They have a little boy a couple months older than Landon and a little girl almost 2 years old. The food was great and the company was even better! I only got a couple of pictures before my camera died!

 This hat was too small for him, but he insisted on wearing it....

While I was stuck inside yesterday, working, Landon was out having fun! His granddaddy picked him up from School and took him to the Park, then Kalmia Gardens! I was soooo jealous! These are the 3 pictures that my FIL sent me through out the day. I think he was trying to make me jealous....and it worked!!!
