Peter Cottontail

My uncle has alot of rabbits, and we decided to take the boys the Kalmia Gardens Sunday and take some pictures. He brought 2 "lionhead" rabbits, and they we so adorable! I didn't know until we uploaded my pictures, that something was on my camera lens, so it left a smudge in just about every picture! Oh well, guess we will have to try again later! It was raining some, so a rain drop might have gotten on it somehow!

He doesn't miss a thing....

Landon is a very smart little boy, but we didn't realize that he literally takes EVERYTHING in that we say. Yesterday, Dustin and Landon were playing baseball outside, and it was time to come in and wash up for supper. So Dustin told Landon to pick up his bat and balls, and come in the house. Landon stopped in his tracks, looked up at Dustin and said, "I can't Daddy, I have a headache." If I have a headache, and Landon wants me to do something, tha tis what I tell him. That lets him know that whatever he wants me to do a that moment, will have to wait. It amazes me how much he learns and picks up from us. He knew by saying that, that he could get out of picking up his toys....because he had a "headache". It let me and Dustin know right then that we need to make sure we are always setting a positive example for him. Me and Dustin rarely fuss, but we made a rule before we had children, that we would never argue or talk about financial problems in front them. They can feel the stress and tension that we talk about, and children need to be worry free for as long as they can. He needs to worry about bad guys and monsters hiding under his bed, than worry about paying bills or any other "adult" issues. We love Landon with all our heart and we want him to grow up and be a wonderful person, that everyone loves to be around. And on the road that he is on now, we are doing a pretty good job.

Landon and his boots....

I dont know why he loves to wear his snow boots so much! He will walk around the house all day and night with these things on!

Handy Landon

Landon is really into tools, and Spiderman these days. He came in our room one Saturday afternoon, and had put on his tool belt, and loaded it with tools all by himself! I sure hope he wants to fix things around the house when he gets older!

TRACTORS

Uncle Gene and Aunt Miranda has some tractors, and Landon and Bryce love to sit on them and play!

My Little Baseball Player

Daddy telling Landon to keep his eye on the ball

Landon loves sports. Especially baseball and football. We bought him a real tee, tee-ball bat and tee balls for his birthday, and are just now getting to use them because it has been so cold. Landon loves it and is really good. He can already hit a ball in air when Dustin pitches it to him, but Dustin said he needed a tee to help him swing level. Dustin also played ball and was in all stars every year. They say he was really good! I cant wait to see how good of a player Landon is going to be!

Snow Days

Everyone came in to warm up!

Making his first snow angel

Yummy snow!

Getting ready to slide!

Daddy getting a snowball ready to throw!

We had a blast when it snowed this year. Landon loved it and me and Dustin were like little kids again. We had snowball fights, built snowmen, made snow cream, and made snow angels. Landon finally got to wear his snow boots...in the SNOW!!!! We even went "sledding" at Dustin's uncle's house. He has a big hill. We didnt actually have a sled, but we made due with a plastic pool we bought Landon one year. I hope it snows every year!!
