Snow boots? In the Summer?

Landon could not understand why I wouldn't let him wear his snow boots to Church this morning. I have to admit though, he sure would have looked cute!!!! I love this boy!

Happy Father's Day Daddy!!!!

"The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother."~~Author Unknown

I have always believed this quote to be very true!! I know Dustin loves me with all his heart, and Landon knows it too. When we go walking, Dustin will pick a flower for me and I will stick it behind my ear. Now, after seeing Dustin do that for 3 years, every flower Landon sees, he gives it to me and makes me put it behind my ear. Dustin gave me one the other day, and Landon took it from me and threw it on the ground. He then went and got me a flower and looked at Dustin and said, "That's MY mommy!" We love Dustin very much and he is such a great Father to Landon and Trevor. I know Dustin wanted to share this Father's Day with Trevor too, but I know Trevor was thinking of Dustin Sunday and looking down at his Daddy. Happy Father's Day Dustin! Landon and his baby brother

This past Saturday, we attended A Walk to Remember that is sponsored by The Compassionate Friends of the Pee Dee Area. We walked in honor and memory of Trevor. We really enjoyed it and plan on attending this every year. Landon really enjoyed it to, and he loves his "Trevor" shirt. Later that night, he said to me and Dustin, "I love my Trevor shirt. Can I go give him a hug?" Landon knelt down in front of Trevor's picture on the walk, and just starred at it. It was like he was picturing in his mind all the things that he could have shown little Trevor. I know he misses him, even though he never really knew him. But he will get the chance to one day...

Landon's First Dentist Appointment!

waiting for his name, we had to wake him up from his nap at school!
looking where he needs to spit at!

"Let me see how wide you can open!"

Such a big boy!

Dr. Hunt checking him out!

NO CAVITIES!!! YAY!

We took Landon to his first Dentist appointment in May. My Dentist is Dr. Hunt and we have talked about when Landon should come for his first visit several times. He said around 3 years old. Landon didn't get ANY teeth at all until he was 15 month old. We were even scheduled for an x-ray to see where his teeth where on the week that his first tooth came in. And within about 2 weeks, he had 4 teeth! We are very strict when it comes to taking care of our teeth, so Landon brushes his teeth about twice a day! Hopefully, he will take after me when it comes to his teeth and never have a cavity or have to have braces! I've heard they can be very expensive! We also recorded the whole thing. We thought he would scream or cry, but he sat there and let them clean his teeth and look at them without even hesitating! Very BRAVE little boy!
